Common Terms & Conditions for publication of the article in CSU Journal
Applicable for all Journals of CSU (UGC CARE Listed & Other Peer Reviewed Journal of CSU Campuses):
All qualified contributors, thinkers, scholars, and academicians are welcome to submit their scholarly research papers to Central Sanskrit Universities’ (CSU) Journals. 1. CSU Journals’ Team- • Editor in Chief- Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of CSU. • Advisory Board- Nominated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. • Editors- Campus Directors • Associate Editors- Nominated by Editors • Executive Editors- Nominated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. • Reviewers- Nominated by Editors • Review Process- There will be specific criteria to review. 2. Procedure for publication • The article should be submitted via the CSU Journal submission portal only. • The article will be sent electronically to three reviewers. • Reviewers will only submit their review reports in the format specified. • Their comments will be compiled, and the paper may be returned to the author if necessary. • Positive comments from at least two reviewers are required before the paper can be published. • If it is sent to authors, the authors must produce a revised version of their text within the time frame specified. • If the article is accepted by the Editor, it will be sent to the executive committee/Editor in Chief for final approval. 3. Responsibilities of Authors- Authors must affirm that their manuscripts are their own work. Authors must certify that the manuscript has not been previously published. Authors must attest that the manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere. 6. Publication Charge- CSU Journals are Open Accessible and Unpaid, however subscription fee may be applicable. 7. Peer Review Policy- All papers submitted for publication in CSU Journals are subjected to an intensive peer-review process by at least two international reviewers who are experts in the field. The review procedure is one of blind peer review. 8. Deadlines Submission- • 30th April & 31st Oct. (for biannual Journal) • 31st Oct (for Annual Journals) Acceptance • 30th May & 31st Nov (for biannual Journal) • 31st Nov (for Annual Journals) Publication • 30th June & 31st Dec (for biannual Journal) • 31st Dec (for Annual Journals) 9. Indexing- All CSU Journals will be indexed on Google Scholar and other Indexing platform. 10. Style and Format Title- The title should be no more than 20 words Abstract- There should be no references in your Abstract. Make certain that it serves as both a general introduction to the topic and a brief, non-technical summary of the main findings and their implications. File format- Manuscript files can be in the DOC, DOCX, or RTF formats. Microsoft Word files should not be locked or password protected. Length • Articles should ideally not exceed 10 typeset pages. • The main text should not exceed 2000 words (not including Abstract, Methods, References and figure legends) • The abstract should be no more than 200 words Font- Use a common font size and a Unicode font. If you use a symbol, make sure to include the appropriate Unicode character. Headings- Limit the number of heading levels in manuscript sections and sub-sections to three. Check that heading levels are clearly marked in the manuscript text. Layout and Spacing- The manuscript's text should be double-spaced. Formatting text in multiple columns is not recommended. Footnotes & Bibliography- - Use proper referencing style. Language-Manuscripts must be written in English, Sanskrit, or Hindi. Abbreviations- Define abbreviations when they first appear in the text. Non-standard abbreviations should not be used unless they appear at least three times in the text. Use as few abbreviations as possible. Table/Figure Referencing style Last Update- 20.02.2023 23:31
